I’m Jill, the textile designer behind Chintz House—a place where I bring together my original fabric and wallpaper designs, decorating ideas, and finds for your home and wardrobe.

My style draws on English country houses, the easy elegance of old Bahamian interiors, the equestrian lifestyle, and the charm of things collected over time. Think botanical fabrics, antiques alongside wicker, and colours that find their way from a painting into the cushions and drapes. I love exquisite rooms with colour and personality that are aesthetically pleasing but still feel comfortable enough to live in.

Pattern is where it begins for me. My designs explore flowers, foliage, birds, and playful animals, with a hand-drawn character and colours made to mix. Through Chintz House, I share ways to bring those patterns into everyday spaces, from a pair of cushions to a room full of layered prints.

In The Room Edit, you’ll find room inspiration and the pieces to help create the look. The Fashion Edit carries that same love of colour, texture, and detail into getting dressed. My original fabrics and wallpapers are available through Spoonflower, and I offer online interior decorating for those who would like a more personal hand in bringing a room together.

My hope is that you’ll discover something here that sparks an idea—perhaps a colour combination you hadn’t considered, a pattern you fall in love with, or a fresh way to enjoy something you already own.
